It probably should come as no surprise that two of the most popular and noteworthy vehicles geared toward efficiency would come courtesy of Nissan and Toyota. After all, the two automakers have long led the way in this regard. And, even given just a quick glance, it isn’t difficult to see where these often-compared vehicles clearly differ.

While the Prius is certainly one of the legends of the move toward more efficient vehicles, it’s difficult to argue with the fact that the 2015 Nissan LEAF has quietly changed the game. While offering more power and Zero Emissions technology, the LEAF also boasts an increased commitment to passenger comfort, making it one of the only truly well-rounded vehicles in its class. Proving yet again that comfort and amenities need not become a casualty of the move toward greater energy efficiency, the 2015 Nissan LEAF would clearly leave the Prius C coughing on its exhaust, if not for the fact that it emits none.
